After having successfully archived the Winter Marathon, Vecars is already working to organize the 14th edition of Franciacorta Historic, the traditional spring event for classic cars scheduled in Corte Franca (Bs) on Saturday 10 April 2021 and reserved for cars built until 1971 as well as a selection of collectible and special interest models built until 1976.
Waiting to know the future government provisions, organizers are currently finalizing the race program - in compliance with the anti Covid-19 Protocol - which may be subject to changes that will be promptly communicated through the website and social profiles.
Race headquarters will be once again the Solive Farmhouse, an elegant location in the center of the Franciacorta Amphitheater, which will welcome participants starting from the afternoon of Friday 9 April with the first session of administrative checks and scrutineering designed especially for local crews and to better dilute access to the crews' accreditation area. On the morning of Saturday 10 April, after a good breakfast and the carrying out of the second session of scrutineering with the delivery of the Road Book, cars will leave the Farmhouse from 11.00 to tackle the first part of the race route until the lunch stop along the path. The return to Solive Farmhouse, after a path of about 140 km with 45 precision time trials, is scheduled for mid-afternoon with competitors who will be awaited by a rich buffet with a taste of the local bollicine waiting for the prize-giving scheduled at 19.30.
Entries will officially open next Monday 1 March 2021.
