The final version of the 2021 PRIORITY DRIVERS' LIST, which will be the initial document for the 2021 season, has just been published.
The published version, which is the result of the corrections made following the renouncements received by the "Autostoriche" secretariat, sees the absence of five drivers who considered the initial average assigned to them as penalizing.
So, Matteo Belotti, Massimo Cecchi, Domenico Gianotti, Massimo Politi and Rossella Torri, who had been assigned an average of 10.00, will be back among the UNCLASSIFIED drivers.)
As you may recall, the Acisport board issued some extraordinary rules for the definition of the PRIORITY LIST in the light of the emergency situation with which they had to deal with the licensed in 2020 marked by the pandemic (Read here the extraordinary rules).
The 2020 calendar of titled and qualifying races has been decimated with cancellations and postponements that have made participation difficult in some cases.
For the 2021 season, (except for a general lockdown in February 2020 style) everything is back to normal, with the confirmation, already experimented since September and the Winter Marathon 2021 which has just ended, that all the races on the ACISPORT CALENDAR are allowed, as well as moving between regions to take part in the competitions.
Therefore, in order to keep the priority it will be important to participate in at least three races during the season:
3 Italian Championships for TOP and A drivers;
3 between Italian Championship and/or National Regularity Trophy for B, C, D and NC;
As always, the personal average will be updated from race to race, with the initial average entering in the calculation.
At the end of the season will be the sum of the best three performances to form the basis for the calculation of the INITIAL LIST 2022.
