Due to current national and local restrictions, and after consultation with all the cities involved in the organisation, the organiser has decided to postpone the 30th edition of the Tour Auto Optic 2000 to the end of August. The French race will therefore be held from 30 August to 4 September 2021, as Patrick Peter himself has announced: "We have a duty to respect all the measures to protect the public, the competitors, their teams, the partners and all the people involved in the organisation of this great event. We are back on the road for the Tour Auto Optic 2000 in September, an event that was a great success last year".
The itinerary remains unchanged, starting from the Grand Palais Ephémère (Paris) and finishing in Nice.
