The 2025 Trofeo dei Castelli Peloritani concluded with a spectacular weekend of motorsport, scenic beauty, and classic precision. Held on June 21–22 in Messina, the event was valid as the fourth round of the Italian National Regularity Trophy and the second of the Sicilian Championship.

Organized by Top Competition with the support of ACI Messina, local institutions, and ACI Sport Sicily, the rally stood out once again for its flawless organization and its unique course that combines the sea, hills, and historic towns of Sicily.

Victory in the overall classification went to Antonino Nizzola and Francesco Messina driving a 1972 Autobianchi A112 Abarth, competing for Messina Classic Team. With just 143 penalties, they showed exceptional consistency and teamwork.

Salvatore Galotto and Giovanni Veneziano, also from the Messina Classic Team, took second place in a Lancia Fulvia Coupé with 178 penalties. The third step of the podium went to Francesco I. Sola and Oscar P. Bloise in an Opel Manta Coupé SR, finishing with 356 penalties.

Further down the standings, Raffaele Sola and Oscar Campilongo placed fourth in an Alfa Romeo 33 1.7, followed by Ettore Di Diego and Francesco Calà in fifth with an Alfa Romeo Spider.

Sixth place went to Piero Borgessano and Lorenzo Vincenzi in a Porsche 944 S, ahead of Marcello Salvo and Sergio Previti in an Autobianchi A112. Rounding out the top ten were Tindaro Previti and Carmelo Biella in a Lancia Fulvia 1.3S, and Nico Previti and Mario Campagna in another Autobianchi A112 Abarth.

With a start and HQ in Piazza Salvatore Pugliatti, the rally took crews through picturesque villages overlooking the Strait of Messina, offering a unique mix of motorsport, culture, and territory promotion.

The Trofeo dei Castelli Peloritani once again proved to be a cornerstone of the regularity season. The national series now moves to the Colline Moreniche Mantovane before the summer break.
