The Green Pass officially becomes one of the documents required for participation in regularity races.

The document, introduced by the Government, compulsory from today 6 August 2021 for access to bars, restaurants, spas, indoor swimming pools and events/concerts/cinemas/theatres (also outdoors), becomes part of the documents foreseen by the protocol issued by the Federation.

The amendment published in these days, in fact, provides that with effect from 6 August 2021 access to the protected areas is allowed by showing at the accreditation centre of each race the green pass and the QR code that accompanies the certificate.

It should be remembered that in order to obtain the Green Pass you must meet one of the following conditions
having carried out the Covid vaccination
be negative to a rapid molecular or antigenic test within the last 48 hours;
being cured of Covid 19 within the last six months.

The green certificate is automatically generated and made available free of charge in the following cases:
having had the first dose or single-dose vaccine for at least 15 days;
having completed the vaccination cycle
having tested negative to a molecular or rapid swab in the previous 48 hours;
have recovered from Covid within the previous six months.

The duration of the Green Pass is not the same for all cases:
in the case of vaccination, for the first dose of vaccines requiring two doses, the pass will be generated from the 15th day after administration and will be valid until the next dose;
in the case of vaccination, second dose or single dose for previous infection, the pass will be generated within the next two days and will be valid for 270 days (9 months) from the date of administration;
in the case of vaccination, for the single-dose vaccine, the green pass will be generated from the 15th day after administration and will be valid for 270 days;
in the event of a negative swab, the Covid certificate will be generated within a few hours and will be valid for 48 hours from the time of sampling;
in the event of recovery, it will be generated within the following day and will be valid for 180 days;

During competitions, in order to verify the validity and authenticity of the Green Passes in electronic/paper form, the organisers will use the "VerificaC19" App issued by the Ministry of Health, which can only be used by "verifiers", i.e. those who are responsible for checking the Covid-19 green certificates during the competition.

It should be made clear that the Green Pass certificate is in addition to the self-certification used to date. It will therefore be possible for sports operators to show one of the two documents for access to the protected area.
