The 14th Franciacorta Historic, scheduled this weekend in Corte Franca (BS), promises to be an edition to remember both for the very high number of entries received, strictly registered online by the Competitors within 24.00 on Saturday 3 April, and for the high quality of the cars entered.

The number of entries has exceeded all previous records set in the 2011 edition (when 124 teams entered) and in the 2019 edition (117). But the record numbers don't end here: there will be 39 pre-war cars, 20 of which belonging to Group 1 (cars built until 1930) in addition to the 24 Top Drivers (and 21 A Drivers) who will fight until the last stage with the aim of succeeding in the roll of honour the young Edoardo Bellini and Roberto Tiberti, who will defend the title aboard the same 1937 Fiat 508 C with which, last January, they won the Winter Marathon.

There will be no shortage of quality cars, with a noteworthy parterre and dream cars including 4 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750s, 2 Aston Martin Le Mans, 3 BMW 328s, 4 Bugattis (Type 35, 37 and 40), 6 Fiat sports cars (508 S, 509 S, 514 "Mille Miglia" and "Coppa delle Alpi"), 2 OM 665 Superba, 2 Rally ABC and 2 Salmson to which must be added equally rare models such as the Alfa Romeo 1900 C Super Sprint with Zagato bodywork, the Amilcar CGSS, a Bandini Sport, a Bentley 3. 5 Litre Tourer, a Fiat Francis Lombardi 850 Grand Prix, a Healey Silverstone, a Lancia Appia Sport Zagato and a Lambda Casaro, a Riley Brooklands and a Siata Daina Gran Sport, to complement the many Porsches 356, Triumph TR2 and TR3, Alfa Romeo Giulia and Giulietta, Austin Healey, Mini, Fiat, Jaguar, Lancia, Mercedes-Benz, MG and Volkswagen, for a total of 26 car brands represented.

The appointment is at 4.00 pm on Friday 9 April at Agriturismo Solive for the first session of crew accreditation and scrutineering - ending at 8.00 pm - before meeting again on the morning of Saturday 10 April, starting at 8.00 am with the second session that will anticipate the delivery of the Road Book at time slots according to the assigned race number (as provided by the regulations) from 9.30 am. The first car will start from the Agriturismo at 11.00 am to return at 4.00 pm after more than 120 km of race, 46 time trials and 1 stamp control and a lunch break at Relais i Due Roccoli with a panoramic view over Lake Iseo.

The whole event will be organised in compliance with the "ACI Sport General Protocol for the containment of the spread of COVID-19 in motorsport" and with the delivery of personalised boxes for breakfast, lunch and the final refreshment with a final gift of a bottle of "Franciacorta" Solive, only for those who opted for the hospitality fee during the registration phase.
