It kicks off with scrutineering on Saturday 27 February and the race on Sunday 28 February with the Rievocazione Storica Rally Aci Varese, the first race of the Coppa Regolarità Sport Pro Energy. Among the 13 entrants in total for the regularity race, seven are those registered for the cup created by Emanuele Bosco and his staff two years ago. As in previous years there will be classifications for drivers and navigators, so wanting to give satisfaction to those who give the notes, is essential but often and unfortunately is "hidden" and never has the limelight. These are the contenders entered in the first race of the Pro Energy Sport Regularity Cup, which takes place over six events located in northern and central Italy. Davide Sartoris from Varese, HRT Corse, with the Peugeot 205 Rallye; the Veronese Guerrino Melotti of the Pro Energy Motorsport team with the Talbot Simca Sumbeam Lotus; the other Veronese drivers of the same team, Simone Amedeo Alberti and Alessandro Zanini, both with Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV. Then Luca Palmisano, a driver from Varese who took advantage of his home race by bringing his Opel Manta GTE for the Del Grifone team; Luca Monti, a member of the Aci Sport historic cars commission, with a beautiful Peugeot 304 and finally Carmelo Cappello of Team Bassano with a Fiat 500 Abarth 695. Only two navigators registered for the Cup in the Varese race: Cristian Adami and Roberta Ballerio, respectively with Zanini and Monti. The protagonists of the 2020 Cup are missing in Varese for different reasons: Falcone-Balboni have their beautiful Toyota "under repair", after the engine failure. Andrea Giacoppo and Mauro Argenti have a concurrent race in Rovereto of the Italian Classic Regularity Championship. Angelo Tobia Seneci is finishing setting up his Opel Kadett GTE. Leonardo Fabbri is sharpening his weapons after the bad luck of last season. All of them are ready to return to the next race to win the coveted Regolarità Sport Pro Energy Cup. They will be joined by others who want to get back "on the road".
