The Automobile Club d’Italia, the Automobile Club Firenze, the Club ACI Storico will propose from April 29th to May 1st 2022 the Circuito Stradale del Mugello with the organization of the Scuderia Automobilistica Clemente Biondetti.
The Circuito Stradale del Mugello, a classic regularity race, will revive the legendary “Gran Premio del Mugello”, one of the oldest competitions in Italy (held between 1914 and 1970), in a historical key.
The participation in the race will be reserved to cars produced until 1990; there will also be a special category for GT road cars built since 1991.
The original race took place in a ring of roads formed by the S.S. della Futa, which connects Florence to Bologna, and by the Passo del Giogo. On this route, drivers such as Giuseppe Campari, Gastone Brilli Peri, Giulio Masetti, Emilio Materassi, Enzo Ferrari, Clemente Biondetti, Nino Vaccarella, Giovanni “Nanni” Galli, Gijs Van Lennep, Vic Elford and Arturo Merzario have challenged.
The 2022 edition of the Circuito Stradale del Mugello includes two days of competition, to start from the City of Florence, through the magnificent Chianti Hills on Saturday, then retracing the historic track of the race to end in the Mugello on Sunday.
