The "Rievocazione Storica della Coppa Milano Sanre- mo", is a national event, with foreign participation, of classic regularity for historic cars in combination with modern cars, and part of the Italian Great Events Championship organised by ACI Sport.

The event is open to all classic cars registered in any country and produced between 1906 and 1990, provided they are in perfect condition and faithful to the original model.

In order to be admitted, the vehicles must also be in possession of a registration certificate, number plates or appropriate permits to drive, as well as third party liability insurance to cover the risk of damage caused to third parties by the circulation of the vehicle during the event. In the selection process, for the purposes of admission to the event, pre-war, sports, one-off, special or particularly historically interesting cars shall have priority, it being understood that, all things being equal, the chronological order of registration shall prevail.

Cars must carry one of the following valid sporting documents:

- ACI VINTAGE REGULARITY CERTIFICATES;

- FIA HTP OR ACI HTP;

- FIVA FICHE

- ASI Certificate of homologation or ASI identity;

- Certificate of registration with the AAVS National Historic Register;

- FIA Historic Car Regularity Pass (FIA HRCP);

- FIVA identity card.

In the selection process, for the purpose of admission to the event, a Selection Committee shall determine, by its own independent and final decision, the cars to be admitted on the basis of criteria favouring the variety of models of the competing cars, their representativeness within the various years of belonging and the nationality of the registration plate. Cars admitted may not be substituted, except with the special authorisation of the Commission.
