The event, which will be combined with the popular non-competitive car rally, will follow the tried and tested "all in one day" formula with accreditation taking place in the early morning - from 8 to 10 am - at the Castello della Bellaguardia. From the same location, at 11 am, the first car will start on a route of about 144 kilometres along which there are twenty precision tests to the hundredth of a second, with the arrival scheduled for 4 pm followed by the awards ceremony, as required by current regulations.

Valid as the penultimate round of the Trofeo Tre Regioni, the Coppa dei Castelli will see at the start the historic cars built until December 31, 1990 and modern cars from January 1, 1991 to the present day.
