The 400 crews accepted for the race were chosen from among the entries from 33 countriesdistributed on all the 5 continents. The most represented country continues to be Italy with 30% of the participants admitted to the race. The Netherlands are in second place, with 17% of the accepted cars, followed by Germany (11%) and the United Kingdom (9%).

Among the accepted cars, 85 are the ones that had participated in at least one of the twenty-four editions of the 1000 Miglia speed races between 1927 and 1957, and the crews on the waiting list, ready to replace any absences, are about 200.

The most represented car manufacturer is Alfa Romeo with 53 cars, in second place, there is Lancia with 32 cars, followed by FIAT with 31, Jaguar 29, Mercedes-Benz 21, Ferrari and Bugatti 19, Porsche 18, Austin Healey 15 and Aston Martin 14.

THE RETURN OF THE VITTORIA ALATA (WINGED VICTORY)
With this edition, the 1000 Miglia celebrates the return of the Winged Victory to Brescia: the logo of the 2020 edition of the race is in fact a tribute to the statue dating back to Roman times, which will be returned to the city’s Civic Museums after a restoration of over two years.
