The International Historic Rally Costa Smeralda, a re-enactment of the Rally Costa Smeralda, is a motoring event in which the drivers and cars that have made rallying history take part, with the aim of reviving the emotions of the periods in which they raced and thrilled audiences all over the world.

The race takes place in Costa Smeralda, based in Porto Cervo - one of the most evocative places on the island - and in Gallura, through landscapes of rare beauty. After the appreciated first edition in 2018, also wanted to evoke the glories of the Rally Costa Smeralda in the fortieth year since the first edition, the positive feedbacks have brought the first fruits earning three validity to the event organized by the Automobile Club Sassari, with the partnership of the Region of Sardinia, Aci Storico, the Automobile Club of Italy, as well as the City of Arzachena, the Consorzio Costa Smeralda and the Marriott; Also confirmed is the partnership with Mirtò, which will be present in the Sardinia village at the Molo Vecchio, designed to promote Sardinia and its peculiarities during the event.

In terms of validity, the event boasts the Italian Historic Car Rally Championship and the European Historic Car Regularity Championship.

Fourth edition of the International Historic Rally Costa Smeralda, eighth and decisive round of the CIR Historic Cars, scheduled in Porto Cervo on 29 and 30 October next under the direction of the Automobile Club of Sassari.
Postponed by two weeks compared to previous editions, the Rally Costa Smeralda aims to consolidate the appreciation from the crews demonstrated by a constant and significant presence and by the growing numbers year after year, as well as the validity.

In addition to the prestigious ones for the Tricolour Rally and the Medium Regularity, there are also those for the A112 Abarth Yokohama Trophy, Michelin Historic Rally Cup and the newborn Historic Rally Championship Sardinia Delegation.

There will also be the third edition of the Regularity Sport, precision race dedicated to the owners of cars in race set-up that can enjoy the pleasure of driving in total safety without the hassle of the chronometer.
